Training before breakfast: does it increase weight loss?
Many performers undertake aerobic training before breakfast (after an overnight fast) when trying to reduce levels of body fat. Studies have shown that exercising in a fasted state increases rates of fat oxidation (burn), due to decreased glycogen availability in comparison to exercising after consuming a meal.
